Heyworth
Campbell trained in a newspaper as an office boy and then in the art
department. In 1906 he went to New York and was assistant to ray Brown
on Everybody's Magazine. In 1910 he was art director for CondŽ Nast
working on Vogue, Vanity Fair and House and Garden. In 1927 he moved
to advertising work for Barton, Durstine and Osborn. He started his
own firm in 1929 and his clients included Dodge Publishing Co. (Body
Beautiful, Children In Action), Good Housekeeping, Lucien de Long,
Lederle Laboratories and Butterick.
